This Apple Tree pattern offers three grow with me sizes: 3-12 months, 12 months–3T, and size 3-6. With a cute color blocked mountain feature this pattern is a fun piece to create. With an option to add a cowl* or have a crew neck, there are lots of fun combinations. The grow with me sizes are adjustable through the use of foldable cuffs and an extra long waistband that grows from a tunic length to a sweatshirt length. The sweatshirt fits as an oversized sweater and grows to a more fitted look. Grow with me patterns create clothing that lasts longer than traditionally sized clothing.

There are 3 files available for download with purchase, the ebook PDF English instructions with a full colour photo tutorial, a layered version of the Apple Tree Color Banff Sweatshirt pattern pieces (designed to be printed on US letter paper with 1/2" margins using Adobe Reader computer program [available as a free download here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/]). There is also a file with a layered A0 sized PDF that can be printed at a copy shop.

------Materials------
Thick knit fabric with at least 40% horizontal stretch (perpendicular to grainline) and 20% vertical stretch (along grainline) for the body and sleeves (sweatshirt knit, French terry, thick interlock or microfleece would work well). The cuffs and neckband need to be made with a thinner stretch knit with at least 60% stretch (95% cotton, 5% spandex knit jersey would be ideal). The waistband can be made from either fabric.

Size = (Amount for Front, Back, Sleeves & Cowl**) + (Amount for Cuffs & Waistband)
3m– 12m* = (½ yard) + (¼ yard)
12m – 3T = (¾ yard) + (¼ yard)
3 – 6 = (¾ yard) + (½ yard)


*The 3-12m option does not include a cowl
** you would need a bit less to complete the neckband option

Other Materials:
• Coordinating thread
• Ballpoint needles and pins or clips
• Sewing machine or serger (you will need a sewing machine for top stitching)
• Chalk or water soluble marker
• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter & mat
